Field Coordinator

NEW

The Field Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and ensuring smooth implementation of program and operations’ activities and adherence to logistic, administration for work in field. The Field Coordinator will play a key role in the assessment exercise. Under the supervision of the Project Manager.

Responsibilities المهام الوظيفية
    • Support daily programme management, required planning and field operation updates, reporting tasks, field staff management and prioritize tasks
    • Follow up the reporting requirement, monitoring checklist procedures, datelines and control mechanisms to facilitate the efficient and effective implementation of projects
    • Undertake the developing effective coordination mechanisms with the FOs 
    • Represent the project/program coordination meetings at SHS regarding
    • In collaboration with the M&E Unit coordinate and follow up the M&E Calendar/Monitoring Plan for UNHCR projects
    • Ensure to update the Project Manager about issues transpiring from the field offices and from donors and capacitate the field offices staff in accomplishing their tasks
    • Contribute to effective achievements against target and indicators of SHS-UNHCR projects
    • Ensure the timely Monthly Output Reports from the field offices and project monitoring data from the field
Qualifications & Experience المؤهلات والخبرات
    • Bachelors Degree in Humanitarian Studies, or other relevant degree;
    • Minimum of three years professional experience in implementing emergency response programs in a humanitarian setting,
    • Strong team leadership and technical expertise are critical.
    • Team player with good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, energetic, hard-working, servant-hearted.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, tasks efficiently;
    • Excellent time management skills and resourcefulness with strong attention to detail;
    • Ability to engage with local communities in rural areas.
    • Physically able to spend the long periods of time in the field.
    • Ability to think independently and problem solve.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
    • Honest, hardworking and committed to community development.
    • Flexible to work under pressure and remote areas.
    • English fluency and writing skills are required.
    • Previous humanitarian experience

نشأت جمعية التكافل الإنساني في عام 1995م مديرية ميفعه محافظة شبوة ، وقد كان هدفها الرئيسي هو مساعدة العجزة والمحتاجين وكفالة الأيتام وغوث اللاجئين وإغاثة المحتاجين في وقت النكبات ، أنشئت الجمعية وترعرعت في ظل دعم بسيط جداً من فاعلي خير وتركز عملها في البدء على كفالة الأيتام وتوزيع المساعدات في المواسم كرمضان والأعياد وغيرها ، وبحكم أن ميفعه كانت الوجهه الأولى للاجئين الصومال والنازحين من القرن الإفريقي فقد اهتمت الجمعية بإغاثتهم ومساعدتهم قبل  ظهورأي تواجد للمفوضية السامية هناك ، وذلك بالتنسيق بين المسؤولين في الحكوميين في محافظة شبوة  وبين رئيس الجمعية .وقد دعمت السلطة الجمعية فترة ليست بالقصيرة وتكفلت بتكاليف مساعدة اللاجئين ونقلهم إلى مخيم جحين بأبين آنذاك.

حصلت الجمعية على ترخيص وزارة الشئون الاجتماعية والعمل في يوليو 1999م .
