About the Foundation:

Yemen Development Foundation (YDF) is a non-governmental, and non-profit foundation. It was established in 2016 by a group of development professionals with aims to empower most vulnerable, poor and disadvantaged populations. It is professionally managed NGO, active in individual and community related issues. The primary focus of YDF is on the problems of the poor; in their struggle to obtain a life of justice and dignity. Environment stabilization, humanitarian work, education, water and sanitation, food security and empowerment of the community for self-governance are the most important components of its mission. Gender justice, natural resource management, and livelihood security are YDF primary areas of concern. Maternal and child health, nutrition, child rights and youth empowerment are also within the main focus of YDF, due to the belief that women are a pillar in society, and that children and youth are the foundation for a brighter future for Yemen.

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of YDF Executive /Head Management, YDF IDPs CC Coordinator will coordinate, follow up and manage project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with donor and YDF requirements. Beside liaising and collaborating with relevant local authorities and other key stakeholders to grant easy access to beneficiaries, he/she will supervise and follow up the information that will be submitted to the database before sending them to the higher level at the foundation.

 Job description/ key responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and manage project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with donor and YDF requirements.
2. Ensure an appropriate follow up for all the activities at the community center.
3. Identify problems that may occur during the distribution and discuss corrective actions with YDF management.
4. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports of distribution activities to YDF management by their due dates. 
5. Ensure that the distribution points are suitable, safe, and accessible for all beneficiaries according to the distribution security plan.
6. Supervise and follow up the information that submitted to the data base before sending them to the higher level at the foundation.
7. Support the project staff by technical instructions to ensure high quality of outcomes.
8. Make sure that all activities are running smoothly and efficiently. 
9. Ensure capacity building for project staff and transfer key skills.
10. Liaise and collaborate with relevant local authorities and other key stakeholders to grant easy access to beneficiaries.       
11. Carry out the daily / weekly / monthly work plan including filed visits, data verification, arrangements, and kits movement.
12. Attend and participate in cluster meetings whenever requested.
13. Manage conflicts when they arise with possible solutions.
14. Monitor beneficiaries’ database and lists.
15. Maintain effective program reporting, monitoring, and evaluation systems for both internal and external use.
16. Conduct field visits to different districts in Sa’ada governorate to assess the effect of the project objectives.
17. Contact and update donors regarding IDPs CC activities.
18. Participate in Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) surveys.
19. Participate in staff evaluation and appraisals whenever needed.
20. Represent the project at the events or meetings with the stakeholders.
21. Respect and follow YDF policies.
22. Preform any other tasks assigned by YDF Management

Job Requirements & qualification:

• Bachelor degree or master degree in social sciences, business or related field.
• Proven experience in program management.
• Experience in coordination with government authorities, clusters, national NGOs, international NGOs and UN Agencies.
• Understanding and experience of project monitoring, evaluation and reporting with the ability to design M&E tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent at spoken and written English with the ability to write good quality reports.
• Ability to represent YDF in high-level meetings with donors and local authorities.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience managing a team.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, access, internet and Outlook.
• Understanding of projects, programs, and proposals writing.
• Attention to details, accuracy and structured way of approaching task
